Los Tortugo’s Seafood Market in Port Isabel

The food and service was great. The restaurant was busy but we were served seated quick. Their fried platter is awesome, enough for 2 people.

I had the fried shrimp with hush puppies. Food was hot and I like the breading that is used on the shrimp. Enjoyed eating my lunch in my car, since this place did not have dine-in available only take out at the moment. But that was ok, my food was hot and tasty. Definitely going back.

Great food. I love their shrimp cocktail and the shrimp basket. They also have outstanding fresh seafood.

My burger was amazing the Dr Pepper also was the fries and the 4 stars gotta go the 5 is here lol and my nephew wrote this... he loved this place and so did my son... we had shrimp, fish and calamari with fries wow it was awesome! Very fresh made... we also tried the steamed shrimp and it was great !! We will definitely go back again if in the area. 👏👏

Best seafood restaurant in the valley! Perfectly cooked fried red snapper is to die for! The fried shrimp is the best too! Food is hot and fresh! Staff is very friendly and attentive

Amazing food!!!!This restaurant above the seafood market is amazing!! Service outstanding, very fast. The food was incredible. We had the fish tacos, daily special of black drum fish and popcorn shrimp. All were superb! Everything tasted super fresh. We just happened upon this place on out drive to South Padre island. Would definitely visit again!!

The the fish ceviche was very good and very reasonably priced. The shrimp tacos were also excellent. The staff was friendly and we will definitely go back if we're here in the area again.

I felt rushed in the store by the manager. They were more concerned about me wearing a mask then they were about how to serve me. Over and over as customers came in it was more about them and not about the customer. When I asked if I could eat upstairs they had a super long wait. So my first experience was not a great oneWith the staff. Manager needs to work on her skills with customers! As far as the food Definitely not bad not the best but not bad!If they’re so worried about COVID-19 they should maybe only have curbside until they work on their people skills. I recommend them overall they did however have good food! Henry

This restaurant was recommended to us by the captain of our dolphin cruise, Captain Paul. It was fabulous. I had the blackened fish and it was so flavorful and tender. I appreciated the onions and peppers served with it My husband had the fish tacos and really enjoyed them. Our kids had fried fish, calamari, shrimp and fries. They said it was all amazing. The portions are huge compared to other fish places I've been to elsewhere. My only recommendation would be for a nicer side salad (they serve iceberg) and maybe a steamed veggie for a side choice. But really you're there for the fish so sides are a bonus. I'd definitely go back given the opportunity.

This place has a lot of great reviews. We went in being very optimistic and they were pretty good. The prices were kind of expensive, but they had a good selection of fresh fish. We ordered the jumbo shrimp and fresh flounder and both tasted great. The staff was pretty nice and there was a steady stream of customers going in which is a great sign. We'll probably go back again even though there are other fresh food places around.

AMAZING takeout experience!!! I cannot recommend this place enough! The shrimp and fish were so fresh and delivered to the island within maybe 30 minutes hot and delicious, not to mention you CANNOT BEAT THE VALUE & QUALITY! 10/10

Excellent food and service! The 4 days we were down in South Padre Island, we stopped here 3 days in a row! First day was to sit down and eat. Second day was to take back to the condo to bbq. Third stop, was to take back home to San Antonio. We are literally hooked how good, and fresh everything is here.

Fresh seafood...small only like 6 tables that seat 4 people each trying to go in take a bit but worth the wait. Great service also.

Super fresh seafood. Great shrimp and crab fingers. Their take out food is awesome as well. During this democratic lead virus shut down business ploy. These folks are still working! You cant go inside but order from the open window to the R of the door. Good pick if you wanna cook your own seafood. Plotted, Scouts out.

This place cant get any better! You can by food that is ready to eat or get pounds of fish for a fish fry or just to ear when you get to your rental. We had their shrimp cocktail (original or spicy) and it was to die for! We had to order 2 more for on the way back home. We also had ceviche and that was amazing and full of flavor.
